How to install bamboo woven ceiling panels? |
|
Preparation： |
|
1. Leave panels in the room for 48–72 hours before installation, so they adjust to the space’s humidity and temperature |
|
2. (prevents warping or shrinking after install). |
|
Check for defects: warped, cracked, or discolored panels should be replaced before starting. |
|
3. The ceiling must be flat, clean, dry, and structurally sound. |
|
4. Plan the layout |
|
· Measure the ceiling and mark your panel grid with chalk lines, starting from the center of the room (avoids uneven edgesat walls). |
|
· For patterned panels (like the herringbone style in your image), dry-fit panels on the floor first to map out the design before attaching to the ceiling. |
|
· Leave a 3–5mm expansion gap around the perimeter of the ceiling (bamboo expands/contracts with humidity changes). |
