| How to install outdoor bamboo dekcing tiles : | |
| Even Strand Woven Bamboo decking is engineered decking , but it is natural wood decking that will expand or contract while the environment temperature and humidity changing, , so this requires a crucial and proper installation techniques on such outdoor decking with T&G linking, and correct installation is quite important to avoid decking warp or bow or crack over years. | |
| Important Points on Installation: | |
| 1. To place Joist on the ground ,and fix to ground with expansion bolt. | |
| Joist can be made of Solid wood, Strand woven bamboo , Or Stainless Steel plank. Hot Dip Galvanized Steel joist | |
| The distance between each joist normla is 465mm. Or as need but not more than 500mm. | |
| 2. To place decking on the joist , and fastern the decking into joist. | |
| Normal the gap between 2 decking is 5-6mm. | |
| If we want to narrow the gap between two decking, | |
| We can tap slightly on another decking to narrow gap ,which min. Can be 3mm around. | |
| Each Decking need 5 - 6 sets screws and clips. | |

| How to maintain outdoor high density bamboo decking ? | |
| 1. Tools required for maintenance | |
| Stand Woven Bamboo decking used outdoor which will require yearly or half yearly maintenance. Here are some instruction on how to maintain strand woven bamboo wood decking | |
| 2. Prepare tools and maintenance | |
| Tools including Bristle Brush , Mop, Putty Knife , Sandpaper , Brush | |
| Maintenance inclucding Outdoor Water -based putty , Cleaning Agent ， Outdoor high Weathre-resistant Wax oil or Paint, we highly recommend wax oil from Woca oil or Kora Oil, which we applied in our decking, so to keep same color tone. | |
| 3. Climate Conditions | |
| The maintenane should be carried out on sunny days ensure no rain for 24-72 hours after repaint, the best tempreture is ≥10℃, relative humidity ≤70%. | |
| 4. Maintenance processing : | |
| First we have to remove the ageing paint film or stains or peeled burrs and clean the dust and debris. | |
| Second Saturate the ageing paint film with outdoor paint cleaning agent for 5-15 minut, then use a hard-bristle brush or wire brush to clean the surface along the bamboo grain direction. Finally, rinse the surface with clean water to remove any residual cleaning agent and ageing paint film, and let it air dry or dry with a mop. | |
| Third with a drying time more than 24 hours and keep the mositure less than 20%. the to check if any place need to repaire with outdoor putty .if any place add putty which need 6-12 hours wait for putty dry. And then use sandpaper to smooht these areas. | |
| Fourth applying new paint or oil on the decking. Which can be rolled or brushed direclty. | |
| Just have attention do not apply too much paint or oil one time. Normal need twice re-paint / or re-oiled on the surface to get an ideal affect. | |
