| Tongue-and-groove bamboo flooring, also known as flat-buckle bamboo flooring, relies on a traditional tongue-and-groove (T&G) profile and is typically installed with adhesive or mechanical fasteners. | |||||
| 1. Subfloor Preparation- Ensure the subfloor (concrete or wood) is clean, dry, level, and smooth. Repair any cracks or uneven areas. | |||||
| 2.Lay a suitable underlayment for sound and moisture insulation. | |||||
| 3.. Acclimatization- Leave the bamboo planks in the installation room for 48–72 hours to adapt to the temperature and humidity. | |||||
| 4. Plank Installation- Start from a corner. Insert the tongue of one plank firmly into the groove of the previous one. | |||||
| - Use a rubber mallet and tapping block to tap the planks tightly together, eliminating gaps. | |||||
| - Place spacers along the walls to maintain an expansion gap of 8–12 mm (5/16"–3/8"). | |||||
| - Installing Subsequent Rows- Angle-Click Method: Hold the new plank at a 20°–30° angle to the installed row. Insert the tongue into the groove, then gently lower and press down until it locks into place. | |||||
